Regional Quality Supervisor
General
As Quality Supervisor, you'll be involved with the planning, coordination and control of all business accreditation, quality and training activities. Across multiple laboratories based across the South of United Kingdom.
Skills
You will need to show evidence of the following:
excellent written and spoken communication skills;
negotiating skills to convince managers of the need to implement and maintain quality
standards;
an investigative mind;
Advanced IT skills including Excel, Word, Databases;
attention to detail;
a flexible approach to work;
leadership qualities.
Responsibilities
Update, compile and review Quality procedures.
Checking compliance with UKAS procedures in Laboratory.
To ensure and maintain company quality standards.
Ensuring laboratory records are in order.
To carry out laboratory and site test/system audits.
Check and update all technical documents used by the laboratory.
To ensure labelling of equipment and samples is correctly maintained and relevant equipment is taken out of service where necessary.
To oversee the calibrations team ensuring competence and meeting requirements of the business.
Knowledge & Experience
2 years experience of working in laboratory environment
Understands demands of BSEN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
Technical Understanding of construction testing and relevant equipment overseen within role.

About Construction Testing Solutions
CTS and our range of independent UKAS accredited laboratories provide on-site testing and laboratory services to the construction, quarry products and civil engineering industries across the whole of the UK.
Our purpose-built laboratories are fully equipped to test the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of soils, aggregates, concrete and bituminous materials as well as other construction materials and products.
Our highly-trained technicians and engineers either visit sites and take representative samples for subsequent laboratory testing, or conduct in-situ field tests.
